A delightful find near the Center for Jewish History. The service was friendly and polite, apologizing for what was not yet in the house (we had an early lunch) and informing us of the gluten free options, including providing a dish of tamari. The sushi was SO fresh! The decor is perfect for Union Square with fun wall art, and although it appears to be a quick take out place, we were free to linger and enjoy the meal. The salad was fresh with lots of avocado and refreshing ginger dressing. Discovered on the second to last day of working nearby, I'd make this a regular spot. Prices very reasonable for the amount of fish per roll. Enjoy!

I've come here multiple times and have always been impressed with the quality of sushi especially because of how inexpensive they are!! I love the whole concept of affordable sushi and this place does it right. I always get some kind of combo. This place is definitely better than some other places that charges much more. The fish tastes good and the rice is prepared right. I've never had a problem with this place. To top it off, the customer service, even thought it's over the counter fast casual, has always been over the top. Also take a look at the cute sushi town drawing inside. I love eating here and having a little sushi break.

Stopped in for some quick rolls. I had the salmon and avocado roll. Service was fast and they made sure to check up in my a couple times. Staff was advising to which I appreciated. Pricing was reasonable for Manhattan sushi.

The food is pretty good. I got the 20 pieces to go and I chose mostly salmon, and it was good. The tuna and yellowtail was just okay. I went after work and they had a lot of orders so I waited for 20 minutes for my food. It took a long time but the worker was nice. The portion was quite small compared to other sushi places I have been to, but this place was affordable so I can't complain about it. The place is clean and it does not have a lot of tables.

Cute decor, fast service, nice workers Tasty, affordable sushi. It's pretty straightforward. The avocado roll was just that: an avocado roll. Sometimes places have carrot or cucumber in with it but this one didn't. And that's fine! This is one of the cleanest fast-serve restaurants I've seen in NYC. I recommend!

This place was so good and very affordable to NYC standards. Will definitely be coming back here often. I got the tao roll and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was so fresh and didnt take long at all.

For the price of this place. mostly $1 and some $2 sashimi and nigiri, this place is amazing. The fish quality is great and the service is fast. If anything, you get more for what you ask for. The ratio of the fish to rice is to my liking, a lot of fish and good amount of rice. The fish slice is also very large compared to a lot of nigiris that you would normally get. In addition for the other rolls like the california roll, There is a very generous amount of avocado that anyone would appreciate. You have to come and try yourself!

For the price of $1-2 for sashimi and nigiri, there's nothing better. On top of that, for decent quality fish and generous portions, you get more than what you ask for. California roll had plenty of avocado, and the sashimi and nigiri fish slices were very reasonably portioned. Also you get a nice presentation when you dine in as a plus :) Highly highly recommend this place, especially if you wanna get sick of eating too much sushi. Can't speak any higher about this place! Come by and try it yourself.

This sushi is exactly the quality you would expect of $1 sushi. Got it? It's quick and easy though and you shouldn't give out ratings below 5 stars when everybody is struggling and at least 25 restaurants in NYC close every week.
